I want to thank everyone who responded to me!

We took our son to his own pediatrician first thing this morning who

told us to feed him. Should he vomit, feed him again. Also, not to

worry about sticking with the BRAT diet, but give him his favourites

(within reason, of course.)

My main concern had been his losing electrolytes (hence, the trip to

emerge yesterday) and had purchased Pedialyte on Sunday, but it

wasn't staying down.

Early today, we gave him some Gatorade (which a friend of mine from

work suggested to me this morning and we happened to have in the

fridge - he loves it) and some rice and it has stayed down!

Tonight he's had a bit of toasted bagel with raw honey. No signs of

vomitting and he's looking better already!

My son has had yogurt with live bacteria just about every day of his

life since he was 6 months, by the way. I tried giving him some on

Friday or Saturday, but it didn't stay down. I will wait until

tomorrow to try again.

While I am striving to eat/live a healthy life, me and my family, I

don't think there will ever be a way to be completely disease free

EVER. You just do the best you can; everybody gets hit sooner or

later. Perhaps those living healthy bounce back quicker, perhaps not

(Terry Fox..)

So, this was obviously a very bad bug which, thank God, looks like is

on its way out!

Again, I REALLY appreciate all the concern!

Terri
