Guest guest
Had s paed's letter today and what's happened here? She opens up with how well is doing with his height, weight and behaviours, lots of adjectives, tremendous, superb etc, then she goes on to say she couldn't say how much was down to his biomedical intervention and is loathe to call a halt at this stage to test the theory???? Then she adds that they would expect by 9yrs old his previous gut issues would have sorted themselves out! Next she expressess concern over how many supps is being given and finally vey concerned about MB12! Seperate letter arrived requesting all the dosage and timing of MB12! She was so supportive of the biomed when I left her office a couple of weeks ago, what's all this then? and why is she so concerned over such a healthy child when she couldn't give a damn when he was a very sick child? Secondly a couple of days ago I got a phone call from Dr Downings secretary saying the Dr had written to my PCT and apparently they have now written back and he needs to speak to me, I didn't think much of it at the time and because he couldn't fit me in this week at a good time for me we made it for 2 weeks time, she then phoned me straight back and said no it had to be sooner, so now it's a teleconsult next week, in light of this letter from paed I have a nasty feeling something is going down and Downing never insists on quick appointments he always just lets me get on with it. Is there some issue in mainstream over MB12? Thanks for making it this far Vicky
Guest guest
Hi Vicky, from my experience I think there is a problem in mainstream with us treating our kids full stop! My dr said that mb12 wasn't licensed in this country for treating autistic kids which is a joke because mainstream doesn't treat them at all - sorry bitter and twisted! Guest guest
me too. I didn't know what to say. perhaps write to paed giving your account of what was said at the consultation. In the future take a friend with you who can witness what is actually said. In the meantime perhaps ignore the paed's demand for information about b12etc? let the correspondence be between dr Downing and the paed over this. She won't be able to bully him as easily. I have had similar experiences with meeting with the head at my son's school - an unrecognisable set of minutes gets produced by her. Margaret Re: Doctor, What next????
