I used to do that until I got , my large orange > and white uber fuzzy cat; he popped two of them while jumping onto my lap.. ive done that as well and it feels good. i put it away though when i got my jack russell pup. he will certainly try to bite it, or will scratch it. the kids broke another one i had while playing with it... they let it rest against the hot wood stove! i needed an excuse to get a new one so i didnt mind...LOL. the only thing that is a PITA with the ball is checking its inflation all of the time. i would really like to deflate it and then fill it up with dh's compressor, using a tape measure to get the proper size. anyway, the ball is also a great tool... good for doing ab work on instead of laying on the floor, same thing with using it as a weight bench for chest press and flies, also good for sitting on while doing an upper body workout. plus it is something different and ive found it to be fun to use. there are some good ball workouts out there as well. :*carolyn.
