I've been lucky in love *and* at winning stuff, , so lucky Libra me! Alwyn, everyone who has entered, don't worry, I've put your replies in a special folder, so it'll be easy to find for the drawing. Who knows? There may be even more little scented goodies in the winning jackpot, cause I'm feeling good! Guest guest
I don't post or reply much, I think this is my third post since subscribing. There's been something happening onlist for a little while now (of what I've read anyway) that sets this list, and others like it apart. Stepping back and not posting, I've not been involved in the conversation directly, but have been " absorbing " it. There is a " kindness " here - something that isn't simply topical, but is seemingly inherent. Maybe it's the human nature of those who embrace nature and understand her nature. Maybe it's the season. Maybe it's just the natural reaction to wonderfully sumptuous fragrances giving way to a heightened consciousness - I don't know. But what's been happening here is just a little bit spiritual - or a lot spiritual and it makes a person pleased to contribute - or to simply enjoy being like " Ferdinand " from the childrens' story, and to just sit quietly and smell the flowers. Members are on moderation until they post a bit so we know they're not spammers or flamers. Sometimes something slips through, but not often. We had terrible times with folks who wanted to push either their " I'm greener than thou " or " You can't make good perfumes without synths " agendas, so we've learned our lesson. Everybody has to respect others here, even if you don't agree with the other party. It's just like keeping the peace between folks who visit your house, in a way. I also think the connection with the beautiful aromatics makes people a bit nicer :-) > But what's been happening here is just a little bit spiritual - or a > lot spiritual and it makes a person pleased to contribute - or to > simply enjoy being like " Ferdinand " from the childrens' story, and to > just sit quietly and smell the flowers. We may have a new name for " lurkers " - " Ferdinands " -- I like it, LOL! -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden http://AnyasGarden.com - perfumes, aromatics, classes, consultation Natural Perfumers Guild http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.com 1400 member Natural Perfumery group - /

I would LOVE to read about the experiences of the contest winners, so life report would be nice:) Have fun!!
Guest guest
hello and Happy New Year group- I am usually lurking and learning..lol. I would love to throw my name in the hat for some samples- I have been loving the daily digest I get from here- youa re all so plesant and kind and soo smart I have learned so much just by reading every day! I also have been collecting samples to find what are the best suppliers - starting a small home- based business of blended EO's for parfume, health and just making scent available to folks who actually have no idea how wonderful it really is- I have always love love loved- parfumes but hated the cost- now in reading this group and taking out every book I can reserve at my local library (lol) I have learned sooo much and I am thrilled with the path that my life has taken- as a stay at home mom - my days can be rather boring and " same ol same old " -( not that I would trade my life for anything at all)- but to find something as fascinating as this is truly a blessing- I feel so fortunate to have found this group and your knowledge is amazing - on top of being such nice people- not like any other group I have ever belonged to - I love it- and appreciate the chance to be a part of it - even if it's just in lurking. I never win anything either - but it's fun to try- lol thanks again and keep up your wonderful posts!!! AngelHawk
