NW Myrtle objects? [was Re: Re: native, and not so native, california plant distillation]

Do/did these lamps, etc have a wonderful fragrance? With cedar closets we were

told to sand them lightly to restore their scent. Any similar custom with these

furnishings? What did the coastal gals use the myrtle oil for?

And, final question, have you considered cornering the market on those old

flasks and reselling to the likes of us?
