Guest guest
Hello Everybody, I think that there were a few new aromatics that tied for first this year. My mother gave me an old vial of Bulgarian rose absolute (gorgeous red orange) in a small carved wooden flask. The flask is wooden, about three inches tall and 1/2 " in diameter, hand-painted with a red rose, and the cap is a dome. She found it at a thrift store. The fragrance is so deep and beautiful. It makes me feel proud to smell it - all that summer light and life in one small bottle. My other favorite fragrance was the pineapple sage/pineapple quince codistilled hydrosol - smells like honey, vanilla, pineapple - incredibly strong for a hydrosol....It's been a good year.
