Guest guest
Hi, Gretchen ... One of the unknown uses for Inderal is the treatment of phobias. Lots of people take it for fear of flying, fear of public speaking, etc. I have used it for public speaking and it does wonders. I thought it was for high blood pressure ... haven't heard of it being used for tremors though.

Guest guest
Gretchen, Lamar here, Inderal is often very good for familial tremors. It may reduce the blood pressure so it is important to monitor it. The IMPORTANT is never to stop it all at once. The dose MUST be tapered down according to a schedule. If not there can be a " rebound hypertension " (blood pressure suddenly goes up and pulse increases). This can be enough to be dangerous. (this is true of any Beta blocker) Now do not be afraid to take it, it is actually a safe medication used by thousands. Just do not suddenly stop taking it without the evaluation of a physician. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gretchen Glick Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2000 7:16 PM Subject: [] Inderal question Is anyone taking Inderal (propanolol) for tremors and how is that going? My Dr. just gave me a prescription since my tremors are bad again.(stress of back pain and treatment set the ball rolling) How long till Inderal 'works' if it does/and anything else you can tell me about it would be appreciated.
