Here is an interesting article about the greening of corporate America, and how we all fit in to that with the new *standards* being created. Companies highlighted include Burts Bees....Tom's of Maine and Burts Bees have Hit Hay and are in a store next to the gallery.... I would think a massive marketing is going on. Well, no WONDER I had to stop using those product lines. No WONDER they all were so chock full of stinky synth garbage that made my eyes burn and, I kid you not, attracted fruit flies to swarm around my hair (Burt's Bees conditioner). Oh -- and I read several years ago that Dr. Hulda tested Tom's toothpaste and found benzene in it. I quit using it right then. My husband and I tried in vain to find a conditioner for his wild hair last weekend. We were in the " health food " section of a large chain store, and could not find any product that didn't have either synthetic fragrances, parabens and propyls, or all of the above and more. Funny -- making the greening of America prosperous and fun... by taking the " natural " out of the recipes and replacing it with the same chemical garbage that's in the mainstream products that " green " folk are trying to get away from. Well, on that note... Cheers! Andrine
