I use one from Mountain Rose Herbs who says it is from China. I don't find it to be as soft and floral as rosewood. I have heard of linalool oil and have looked for it but have not found any. Anybody know of a supplier in the US?

They have reasonable prices on EO's as well. They don't specifically list where their EO's are from in the print catalogue, but I'm sure if one inquires they would be more than happy to tell us. 30ml (approx 1 ounce) $3.93 They are Canadian. I have not heard of that supplier. Thank you Very much! Hi , Wolfnbuffalo and all Because, of the sea of adulteration that goes on in the EO world... Anya has created a safe haven for NPrs to purchase in confidence from suppliers here for anyone who wishes to purchase in confidence. This is a great blessing because the last thing we want to happen is to find out that one of the precious ingredients in a perfume that took months to a year or more to compose is in fact a synth! It happened to me, and I can tell you it is not fun. So, keeping an open mind... I did jump onto their website and noted they also sell fragrance materials .. but I don't know anything about this company.. Wolfnbuffalo it sounds as if you have some experience with them ...... do you use them exclusively? Do chime in...... BTW the Guild has a policy to require potential advertisers to meet with certain criteria for the Thursday ADs..and any potential candidate has to submit to the Guild. This area is I feel of particular importance... How can we as Natural Perfumers create a beautiful perfume without the help of the finest raw materials? There is nothing quite like it. You will find that many perfumers have 2 or 3 samples of the same ingredient.... different harvests, different area of origin, different distillations as each of these give nuances and slight variations in the scent which helps the perfumer to decide on which delivers the perception.....
