Are they all natural perfumes? I found the Mimosa very sensual..... Thanks, Angi Hi Angi Yes, they have been around a few years now.... I have never been sure whether they are 100% natural or not.... but I think they use a good percentage of them..... They have a lovely catalogue (I have one from a few years back ) and market themself beautifully.... and as their website shows they have made good access ito the market... I just couldn't fathom whether they were 100% or not... I will guess they are not or they would state so? anyone? But I still want to have my first experience on Anya's Perfume and Mandy Aftel's perfume to really find out the natural scent experience. I am kind of scared to give it a try before I can actually feel sure of my own blends!! Dont know if I am explaining it well. I am worried that if I try the real thing, I would give up my own experiences because it will never be as good! Strange and stupid thinking right, Angi No ....not at all..... but smelling a natural perfume well built and with excellent dry down is such a great pleasure.and with naturals it is such a joy... If you want to smell Anyas or Mandys first go for it.... I think it will ultimately help you.... Everything takes time... I don't know how long you have been blending but as the logo explains it is slow scent..... and that goes with the learning process too.... to take a course is invaluable and will be a fabulous learning curve and you will get to grips of basics in a short time but it is still the practical ongoing years of thinking and experience that makes one grow ..... to realise how little we know LOL.... building up the scent memory thinking laterally about scent and construction...imagining how they will combine all takes time to sink in and make ultimate sense... Yowza I remember when I started all this ten years ago here in UK.... yep its my business anniversary in April .... It was Ascent then and now Janita Haan but that is by the by...still the same business....just different name... I can remember being overwhelmed with all the various elements.... but we do it because it is our grande passione... reason d'etre... love of our life, so we continue the fragrant path for which we stepped. For me, I am glad.... I have met some extraordinary people along the way and continue to do so.... lovely talking with you.. it is late time for sleep Every good wish, Janita Janita Haan Natural Perfume Flowers of Myddfai project http://www.tiny.cc/flowers817 Janita's Attar http://www.janitasattars.blogspot.com --------------------------------- Sent from & #45; a smarter inbox. I'm Ellen. I'm a new to NP (just a few months) & a newer member of the group here...I made the investment in several " sample sets " of Mandy's, and it was definitely worth it for the full " natural " experience. 100% Naturals are WORLDS apart from synths. I can hardly stand synths now...and I own a ton of expensive designer ones...its a shame! Mandy's sets are $20 for three...and you can pick which three you would like in the set..either essences or perfumes. They come in a vial a little smaller than .08..but are not full by any means...they come about maybe a 1/6 full...roughly enough just to smaple it a couple of times...but definitely enough to analyze! Since you are paying shipping, get at least 2 sets (that 6 scents total)..and try a couple of her solids too. Those come scraped out onto a blotter, and placed in a vellum envelope...same as the liquids, there is enough there for a couple of sample tries and analyzing. I suggest trying the limited edition roll-on sample ($20 on its own) of her new Parfum Prive'...it's H-E-A-V-E-N-L-Y...also the boronia solid, tango, shiso, pink lotus & her jasmine solid. All of them are SO different & amazing...and WELL worth the $$$ for the experience. Next, I am saving for Anya's...and look very forward to the experience of her legendary blends!
