Intellectual Property Rights Lawyer Recommendation

Hi Group Members:

As the New Year starts, some of us who have product lines or do

consulting work may start thinking about the need to protect the

valuable work that we do. From time to time, these issues have come

up on this and other lists I participate on.

I'd like to recommend my attorney, Merchant, as a resource for

legal consultation. He has handled my trademark paperwork and also

advised me on a number of contract related matters. He's a really

good guy trying to build his own practice and he would be a good

resource for members who need legal advice. His rates are quite

reasonable and he is always up front about how much he thinks a

project will cost.

Resource. is located in San Francisco and I'm in Berkeley, but

frankly, we have handled almost everything over the phone or by email.

By the way, this is not an ad, despite being Ad Day. I don't get any

kickback for this. (And we're not doin' the ol' hokey pokey either.)I
