Guest guest
>http://nowsmellthis.blogharbor.com/blog/_archives/2008/3/8/3567270.html?message\ = My honest response to this is: " natural " is a highly subjective term. I've gone through lengths (personal purpose and research of differing views) to try to come to an acceptable " definition " across the board, and (in short) have found there to be none. I have found it to relevant only in context ie: 1) who is asking 2) from what school of thought. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Your comment on this was quite right Anya: another one jumping on the 'natural' bandwagon... Disgraceful!! I sell very uplifting or relaxing pulse-points perfumes in fractionated coconut or jojoba oil bottled in 10 ml roller bottles for £10 ($20) to my private clients! Maybe I should call them 'wellness' perfumes and sell them at 10 times the price:) Isabelle
Guest guest
I think, if it doesn't say " from essential oil " or " from absolute " in the list of ingredients, I don't believe it is all-natural. Most of those listed notes are inexpensive enough to be real, but I start doubting their authenticity when they list " musk " instead of specifying " ambrette seeds. " (And what, exactly, do they mean by " leather? " ) The general public is not educated enough to be skeptical about such an ingredient list. Nor are they experienced enough to identify, for example, orange blossom as opposed to orange peel. I suppose they take it on faith. I don't.
