Hello All & Happy '08!

What do you all think about NP candles? I've never tried it...anyone

want to share any stories??? I was thinking of simply adding maybe 40

drops of essence to melted beeswax, mixing and pouring into like a

3 " X6 " pillar size mold??? I LOVE candles...but can't really stand

synths anymore. What I'm scared of is not being able to smell

it...maybe I should just do a votive with an oil heating dish instead???

Thanks Cathi. I really appreciate your input! I would LOVE to help

members with their business names/marketing/adv/promo---this was what

obtained my B.S. degree in---Retail Business & Graphic Design. Funny

thing, I actually pay the bills by working as an interior designer &

jewelry designer...and hopefully soon, natural perfumes! I am

avialable to help you with anything I can! Happy '08!

Hi Edge,

Regarding this inquiry on a NP candle. Essential oils are often used in

candles. Only that which is not soluable in water is going to blend with

some candle mediums. (i.e. parafin, will not bind with a water soluable

product such as a tincture, alcohol, etc)

Not all Essential oils burn in a

candle, they will clog the wick whether it's soy or other vegtable based medium

for candle fuel. (I sometimes refer to the parafin, soy, vegtable waxes as the

candle medium and sometimes I call them the candle " fuel " ) There are many that

do and do so very well.

I personally work with parafin, but many call a soy, essential oil based

candle a " natural " product.

Hope that helps

Patti
