I'm glad you asked the question because i love the idea. How did you find out about it? I found other sources of Zukoh powder on the web and many have the note added " Not sold in North America for cosmetic or medical use. " This source: http://www.earthwisebotanical.com/products/zukoh_hand_incense_powder-1026.html indicates that it can be used as a hand sanitizer. -

It's indescribably divine. It seems to develop and improve with the natural oils and perspiration on the skin. I don't know what the more commercially prepared blends are like. Thanks for the links, I'll try them. blessings,
Guest guest
>I'm not familiar with the term " body incense " . Could you explain that one further? Sound cool!< Hi and all... These body incense powders are really lovely, I believe usually a sandalwood base with aromatics powdered . The Japanese Zukoh has different types, but usually contains something like aloeswood, clove, sandalwood, perhaps a bit of camphor and cardamom or star anise. Has a real quality incense aroma that warms on the skin. Their are Indian varieties as well, which are usually very potent, smelling much like a bakhoor incense - with a heavy rose note. One I have is called " Ruh Booty " by Dr. Roopas. Also I found the one I gave you a sample of , it is an indian type called " Scent of Samadhi " . Very exotic. You can find it at: http://www.essenceoftheages.com/ivarious/ibodincense.html if you ever want to get together and experiment, let me know, always wanted to try it and I have most of the ingredients , they are the same as incense...Yet i think there is an element in them I am not aware of, something that bonds and fixes them. Perhaps a tiny drop of some type of oil? Katlyn
