Hi everyone... just thought I would chime in on this.

There are some of us (like me=) who spend very little time on the

computer, and have never been a member of a group or message

board before...

and we have no clue what top-posting even is! I figured it out, but

when I first joined I read all of these warnings about not

top-posting, but no clear explanation of what the heck it is.

Maybe it would help if top-posting were better defined in the group

messages for all of us e-tards out there. Thanks a lot!

Here goes. I'm fairly new to the group and so have felt too nervous to

post any replies until now. I know what top posting is but I'm anxious

about pressing the wrong link and doing it unintentionally. If I want

to reply to a message therefore do I reply by pressing reply via

webpost. Sorry if I seem a bit dense but I'm new to groups on the

internet.

Kind regards.

Ambrosia said: I still get really confused too.

I so agree. The thing is I receive my emails with the first few sentences

viewable and if they don't look like something I need to read, I don't have

to open them first to see what they said. The subject line should be

sufficient and this is the only group that I belong to who requests this.

It is important, however, for people to change the subject line if they

push " reply " and post about something totally different.
