Guest guest
I have not been able to find any either. I have had an interest in Rooibos tea for a few years and I have been reading anything I can on it. I swear by it so much I drink it every day and I " up my dosage " of it if I feel like I am coming down with something. I was wondering if there is an essential oil for red tea because you get the nutritional benefits by drinking it or putting it on your skin from what I have learned so far. So basically, I'll wait with you.

Neither of them have it on their websites anymore but it might be worth contacting them to see if they have any stashed away somewhere that they might be willing to sell. Glad I got it while the gettin' was good. That's the thing about this natural stuff. Here today, gone tomorrow. Sigh... Guest guest
Thanks a lot for the info... I will definitely send them each a note. Even if they don't have anymore they may be motivated to find a source again if they know that there is interest. So, if anyone else has any interest in rooibas absolute and/or essential oil, please feel free to drop a line to Aftelier and White Lotus along with me! Thanks again. Guest guest
I adore rooibas... I love to blend it with a little bit of vanilla bean. It's the perfect mid-morning refresher! I restocked the other day and wrapped the loose tea in some pretty teal tissue paper and placed it inside this little green paisley tin I picked up a few weeks ago. Very psychadelic! By the way, at the suggestion of West, I am going to contact Mandy Aftel and McMahon (of White Lotus) and request the rooibas absolute or EO. You are more than welcome to do the same... if they know that there is interest out there, they may track down a supplier for us. Flavonoids are not aromatic and do not distill therefor are not found in the essential oil. I am guessing the same is true for Rooibos tea. I will be offering green tea extracts soon, but not rooibos. Sagescript Institute, llc http://www.sagescript.com
