Guest guest
Hello everyone... Thanks for allowing me to join your group I have had a passion for natural health and the use of EO's for several years, although I still consider myself to be novice as there is such a vast amount to learn, and I feel like I've just skimmed the surface. I have a special interest in ancient oils and enjoy reading about them and how they were used. I have a few on hand (frankincense, spikenard) that have amazing skin properties but the aroma of some are an acquired taste lol. To date I have made and use perfume, soap from scratch, massage oils, bath oils/bombs, lotions, lip balms, scented talcs, diffusers, etc. and am happily up to my neck in a variety of EO's and natural source products (although I admit to the occasional selective use of fragrance oils) and I am a huge fan of seaweed and seasalts. My favorite EO's include jasmine, nutmeg, frankincense,y-y,amber and the woods (sandalwood, cedarwood, etc). I would like to try neroli, but the $$ is prohibative for me. Maybe sometime in the future?? I am also somewhat of a naturalist (plants, gardening, composting), with a passion for re-creating " lost arts " (soapmaking, calligraphy, illumination, etc). My family is my world and I enjoy the precious moments I get to spend with them. I am also a work-a-holic unfortunately, which limits the time I get to spend with my greater loves. I look forward to meeting all of you in the virtual world here. I have yet to meet anyone where I am living who shares my interest/passion for natural health & EO's. Most days I never speak of it because people look at me like I'm speaking a foreigh language. I get a lot of the " why can't you just buy off the shelf like regular people " responses. My family supports me whole-heartedly, but prefer I don't involve them in my " experiments " . So again, thank you everyone... I look forward to hearing your stories/advice. I'm sure I will have a lot of questions, and hope I can share a few of my own experiences as well. Bless you all, have a wonderful day! --------------------------------- Ask a question on any topic and get answers from real people. Go to Answers.
