Guest guest
Getting over a bout with Shingles~ Yes, I am wondering, now that I may be prone to it, I hope it will not continue to come along. I have stress at work. There was a coworker that was asked to leave directions on how to massage data in an excel report that has many columns and arranging of data. When I returned from holiday leave, i heard the next day was her last day. She was the bosses pet, so she never left directions. She was a wiz at it. It's a huge excel database, with multiple columns and sorting. So she went on extended leave, and that report has been my frustration. Directions on how to massage the data was asked for months ago, before she even put in for extended leave. So... now that I'm back to work, the boss asked for those reports. I need to let the boss know, that I do not wish to be asked to the those reports without proper directions. I need to get up the guts to approach this. Or the reality that I do not need to be working. We are supposed to have this new and improved evaluation system, and I feel I have not been heard. So wish me luck. What do I have to loose anyway, another bout with this flare up? I already get oral and genital ulcers with Behcets; but this is getting rediculous, I am realizing how stress is exacerbating my illness. I hope to manage stress better, but this is kinda hard. Laurie/ Behcets, hypothyroid, sleep apnea, hiatal hernia, Adhd, depression, arthritis in lower back, carpal tunnel, (previous) Bell's Palsy, etc.
Guest guest
oh wow, Laurie, that former worker really 'got you all' by not leaving info on how to massage what she had created! Hope you figure a way not to make you sound 'incompetent'!! and at the same time not make her sound 'mean', as she was a bosses' favorite. NOT easy!! I don't suppose if you got one of those 'miraculous' teaching CDs that you could learn enough quickly to be able to figure it out?? (and don't forget doing multiple SAVEs, just in case.... ;-) and having those physical stresses DEFINTELY doesn't help. They sound like NO FUN! wishing you good luck and a smile that gets the bosses to be cooperative!! Guest guest
Its hard to keep up, nowadays, we have passwords to get into multiple databases, and ur not supposed to write them down, ya, right. and they change every 45-90days. Give me a break. ALways something new to learn, and redo. Stimulation overkill. thanks, for letting me vent. Laurie
