Guest guest
I know the worst thing somebody can do is join a group and not be active... However, I promise you I would have given anything to be here than where I had to be... For somebody with Lupus (SLE), after everything I have been through the last 3 months, I think I have held up nicely...I have been going through the normal aches and pains, and breathing woes. However, something different happened... I was trying to take down my Queen size bed because they were bringing out my new state of the art Hospital Bed the following morning, and the rails were stuck, as I was walking over to my dresser I suddenly fell head first. Springing my arm starting at the shoulder all the way down to my hand & wrist. WOW! What happened! I have muscle problems due to lupus you know the regular aches and pains, but why am I suddenly falling without warning? This is the second time it has happened, the first time I fell down a flight of stairs, cracking 5 ribs and busting myself up real good... Again, without warning, I did not trip or stumble... Anybody else had this problem, and if so what else should I be expecting... In addition, my Dad passed away Dec.13, 2007. Dr.'s told him that he had Liver Cancer and had 6 mos. to live, but he died 2 weeks later. We were in shock he left us so suddenly. Nevertheless, to be going through all this stressful stuff, I think I have faired well... I have had slight flare-ups, and a slight rash from the Scleroderma. However, I have something new that is bothering me, my nose bleeds very easy. I can sneeze, blood, wipe my nose, blood, also clots... Is this normal? Oh yeah, I cough up blood sometimes too... Can somebody tell me what is going on here? Sorry this is so long and taking up so much of everyone's time. However, I could not get here when it was all ongoing... Please help me if you can... Sincerely, Tracey
