Guest guest
Welcome back ! May I also offer a traditional acupuncture treatment for stroke recovery? You take a knitting needle or similar blunt pointed object, and press it into just below the bottom corners of each finger and toe nail every morning (and whenever you think about it during the day) This activates the beginning points of every energy meridian in the body by sending energy through all of them, helps to clear the blockage in the ones damaged by the stroke. This doesn't interfere with any medications you may be taking, doesn't have any side effects and may hasten your recovery. So good to have you back!! For the past couple of months, every time saw a garnet, (whether in jewelry, loose, or just the color) I thought of you and sent positive thoughts your way - soooo glad to hear your sense of humour is intact...you have our support and positive energy. My brother suffered a stroke 12 years ago and is totally paralyzed on his right side, so you are one of the lucky ones. I know you got quick treatment, which is another good indicator you'll recover well. > I'm getting a lot of help here from family and friends....and I have a > bunch of people to thank for getting me as far as I've gone..... > > One Group of people is the NP List.... > > Early January was probably the darkest time of my life..... > > The cards that came in astounded the hospital staff....me, too..... > A number of people *called*....!!! > I suspect a lot of other folks sent their prayers and well wishes as > well... > > Well, they worked..... > That's so good to hear, very heartwarming! > The nursing staff couldn't believe that was happening from an *email > list*.....<G>.... > Hope you told them not only are we nice, we smell good ;-) Oh, I'll bet you had some chats about aromatherapy with them! > I hadda explain to them, see, it's not your ordinary mail list....it's > more a community.... > > So...my deepest heartfelt thanks to you folks..... > > I needed a kickstart, you see... > I think you're the first regular who ever had such a health crisis, , and as list mom I'm just so touched that the group members reached out and shared their concern and " get well " wishes and that it really made a difference! Hope you can post more soon and also hope you're enjoying your aromatics and that your sense of smell wasn't affected by the stroke. PS Remember to stay off the ice! I recall a broken collarbone on you about a year ago, and staying inside and nesting is all you need to do while winter is freezing Wisconsin over. -- Sincerely, Anya Anya's Garden http://AnyasGarden.com - perfumes, aromatics, classes, consultation Natural Perfumers Guild http://NaturalPerfumersGuild.com 1400 member Natural Perfumery group - /
