Guest guest
oh mar, so much new york so little time...! but since you're on a whirlwind tour, you must go to enfleurage, at 321 bleecker street (between christopher and grove) they specialize in essential oils and essences from all over the world, some of which are hard to find and very unusual (artichoke essential oil, anyone? how about yuzu peel?) they also have a blending bar, books, diffusers, also a lovely staff. directions: 1 or 9 train to the christopher street stop, or the B,C,D,F, E, or V to the West 4th St stop. open 12-6 today (sunday) and 12-8 monday. on the non-perfumery tip: the whitney museum of american art has an incredible retrospective of kara walker's work called " my complement, my enemy, my oppressor, my love " ...sure to inspire an explosive perfume! they're at 945 madison ave at 77th st. directions: 6 train to 77th st. unfortunately they're closed on mondays, but open today 11-6. enjoy and send some of that nyc vibrancy across the pond to grey old london! best, lisa
