Guest guest
Hi, Lactobacillus plantarum 299v, the strain identified as being capable of staying in the intestine by Stig Bengmark of Sweden (way back when) and used to make a drink for TPN in hospitals, is also available from Quest. It is grown on a soy base; the original was grown on oats. We've used the Quest version, but not noticed any great benefits, possibly because we didn't give enough.
