It nearly killed my son 7 years ago. I haven't found a natural treatment for it, untreated it can lead to arthritis, pneumonia,gut problems. But your description seems like the little beasties to a T. It's also called community acquired pneumonia. I'm currently doing a long round of antibiotic therapy for it.
