Can anyone point me to sources of safety info or provide insight into

limits you personally follow when using this material? I couldn't find

any info, even to see its citral content.

I'm having trouble determining how I could safely use citral rich oils

in general. Can anyone provide any insight into how you limit their use

in your perfumes? This safety stuff is so challenging. I struggle to

find the right balance.

Thank you!

Thank you, Anya. The info in the site you provided is really helpful,

although I'm still possibly a little confused.

Does the following info (copied from that site) mean that this oil

typically has less than 10% citral, since it shows citronellal

content as up to 80% and citronellol as 10%?

Main constituents present in Combava oil are:

aldehydes: (-)-(S)-citronellal up to 80%, citral, geranial and neral,

esters: citronellyl acetate, geranyl acetate,

alcohols: citronellol (10%), terpinen-4-ol and nerol, monoterpenes:

a –pinen, b-pinene and limonene.

Thank you again!

Sharon
