Guest guest
Hi Helen I know this ice cream isn't allowed under the AIA gf/cf diet protocol - i can't remember the reason but think it was to do with dga - ican go on and check if you like? Yes, it was a blow to us too - our son used to love it! best wishes sharon
Guest guest
Hi Helen I have some in the freezer, the vanilla flavour. We allow Louis to have it very occassionally, the ingredients are as follows Water extract from premium graded soya beans, sucrose, glucose, vegetable oils non hydrognated, emulsifiers: mono-and di-glycerides from vegetable oils, stabilisers:carob bean gum, guar gum, carrogeenan, salt, vanilla flavour. The other thing that it could be is, a reaction to the sugar (24g per 100g). Hope the behaviours go away soon. Kay. swedish glace ice cream Hi , wondering if anyone can help with ingredients from above? had his bday party at weekend and in moment of weakness, we allowed him to have some ice cream as he was enjoying it sooooo much and was lovely to see him tucking in alongside his friends. We paid for it yesterday. He was stimmy, really cross, hitting his head constantly and was awake most of the night. He's been a bit up and down lately but am sure ice cream didn't help. I cant seem to find ingredients anywhere and was wondering if it has any nasties in it? Grateful for any feedback here. Thanks Helen x
Guest guest
>Thanks Kay and Sharon Yes, I remember it was off limits in the days of AIA , just couldn't remember why. Must be a mix of high sugar, soya and dga (although I cant remember what that is now, just that it was a baddie) Its such a shame as it was so wonderful to see him devouring it with his buddies) Thanks again Helen x > Hi Helen > > I know this ice cream isn't allowed under the AIA gf/cf diet protocol - i > can't remember the reason but think it was to do with dga - ican go on and check > if you like? Guest guest
I've seen references to dga in a few places. Can anyone tell me what this is? And why it's bad?
