Sorry if this has been posted already but I know a lot of people on

the list are doing Zeolite, and maybe would find it interesting.

Cheers

The first ever clinical study looking at the use of a natural chelator

on autism disorders had it's revised protocol approved by its FDA

approved Independent Review Board. The study using strict scientific

methology seeks to validate the anecdotal reports from parents of

autistic children. The natural supplement, NCD zeolite™ is an

inert mineral with a variety of unique properties. With increased

recruiting efforts, the protocol changes will make it easier to

complete

screening. The sponsor plans to complete recruiting by the first

quarter of 2007.

Since its market introduction in August 2005, the liquid zeolite named

NCD zeolite™, has generated a substantial number of anecdotal

reports from the USA, Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand. The

reports have stimulated the Health and Wellness Research Institute,

Portland, Oregon, to independently sponsor the randomized, double-

blind,

placebo-controlled clinical study evaluting the effects of including

daily drops of the dietary supplement, NCD zeolite™ to the diets of

children from three to eleven with an autism disorder.

Autism is classified as a neurodevelopmental disorder that manifests

itself in markedly abnormal social interaction, communication ability,

patterns of interests, and patterns of behavior. Although the specific

etiology of autism is unknown, many researchers suspect that autism

results from genetically mediated vulnerabilities to environmental

triggers.
