I'm 17 and a complete newb when it comes to fragrance making but adore the sound of it. I'd be greatfull if you could point me in the right direction especially with carriers which confuse the hell out of me! Also i anyone had any recipies I could play with that would be so useful. Thanks for all your help :-) Tyler Tyler a very warm welcome! Go to the Files and links in the group.... you will find a wealth of information there to help you.... As per carriers..... you could start with a jojoba oil base..... this is most like the human sebum and absorbs well.... other carriers of course are alcohol.... pref 96% and undenatured which means that there is nothing in it .... again check files. With alcohol you might need to check for a license where you are? Where are you? I would recommend you could take a course that are offered here .... either Mandy Aftel distance course or Anya's online course which starts in March....think there are some places left but they are going quickly... if economics difficult then read the archives....but remember to come up for air LOL... so much there ... and just ask questions... There will be always someone here to answer anything you might want to know... Anyway hope this helps.... & :-D A good place to start is Mandy Aftels book Essence and Alchemy.......... there is a recipe in there but there are some in the archives as well. happy hunting !
