Guest guest
Good morning everyone I went to my appointment to learn that my thyroid is slow and they've put me on medication to speed it up. Apparently the thyroid effects you than just slowing down the body's ability to lose weight, it includes depression, low energy, etc...The pre diabetic aspect is actually now lower than last month which indicates my weight reduction is helping this old body. Good news to me means a lot as I have not had much for a while. Take careHugs Love & Prayersette

Guest guest
Hello etteWhen my sister visited after attending a medical conference, she said that iodine deficiency and consequentially thyroid problems are actually rampant in North America, Apparently everyone just assumed that having iodized salt would solve the problem but in fact, there's little regulation as to how the salt is iodized and the iodine tends to evaporate into the air if the salt is left in containers open to air. That and any funding for research into iodine deficiency just disappeared because it was assumed that the so called experts of the 40's and 50's were correct in stating that iodized salt was good enough. Seems that as a society, we can be pretty stupid.Regards,On Mar 1, 2008, at 3:32 AM, ette Limegrover wrote:Good morning everyone I went to my appointment to learn that my thyroid is slow and they've put me on medication to speed it up.
