I have studied natural perfumery mostly online - written words and not spoken.

As a result I have come across a number of names and words that I am not sure of

the pronunciation. For example I called a supplier about some labdanum I was

unsure of today. I said lab da num, he said lab dan um. Dictionary.com agreed

with me, not him. But he deals with it all the time.

Some people say langlang for ylang ylang. I usually include the y as y lang y

lang.

How do you all say these names? What names are you unsure of? For those of us

who use other languages, do you have any good names you'd like to share?

Thanks everyone!

Elise
