Yesterday was a joy and a milestone for me - and the group, too ;-)

Hi Everyone:

Well, I finally got back to blending yesterday. I have been pulled away

from the organ and from my unfinished perfumes (all in the mod stage)

for the past four months due to administrative and communication

responsibilities with the Guild, my classes and my new employees.

Yesterday was also the sixth anniversary of this group, and I blogged

about it: http://anyasgarden.blogspot.com/ I made more of a deal about

it last year because I always like to " round out " a birthday or

anniversary, plus I love the number five ;-) Next month, Chris' group

Oils, Herbs., Etc will be eight years old (!), and wow, it's been a wild

ride with the huge numbers of folks who have flowed through our

respective doors. Anyone who has a passion for natural or botanical

perfumery or using herbs and essential oils can find a place to lurk,

learn, or participate in our groups.

So after my blending time yesterday, I had some champagne at dinner and

we raised a glass to the group and the fantastic resource that *you* -

all of the members have made it. I also had some phone conversations

earlier in the day with group friends and students who shared their

appreciation for this group's existence. Some worry " what if

crashes? " and all the info is lost? I have all the messages and photos

and member contact info backed up and can restore it on another site -

it won't be lost. This resource is priceless and has put many of us on

the road to being able to elevate our art, our businesses, and our

friendships.

Big hugs and lots of thanks for everyone who supports and loves the

beautiful art we are passionate about.
