Guest guest
Has anybody tinctured rooibos? For that matter, is there an essence or EO of rooibos? It has a complex sharp and sour smell mixed with an earthiness. I imagine it could be nice. Maggie
Guest guest
Hi Maggie, I am tincturing rooibos now. It smells very nice indeed. I have not used it in a formula yet. My husband tried making rooibos ice cream and we don't recommend that. It tastes yucky! But something tells me it will be nice in perfume. I've had rooibos absolute and thought it flat compared to my homemade " absolute. Guest guest
Yes, my SCOBY is producing beautifully in a continuous brew. I pour off a little extra periodically to make a spare scoby and keep that in a scoby hotel. > > > > Hi all, > > Rooibos should pose no problem. I can't have caffeine in any way and I make all my combucha from herbal blends, rooibos or honeybush. I've never even TASTED a black or green tea KT. > > Teresita > > > > > > > > > >
