Hi Tracey,

I'm Helen and I too have SLE... I also fall a lot for no reason but I can't tell you if it's from the SLE or one of the other things that I have wrong with me... If your coughing up blood I would be going to the ER Pronto!!! I sent an article you should look at...

Sorry to here of the loss of your Father, I'll keep you and your family in my Prayers and Thoughts...

Get to the ER and let us know how your doing...

((( Worrying Hugs )))Helen

I know the worst thing somebody can do is join a group and not beactive... However, I promise you I would have given anything to behere than where I had to be...For somebody with Lupus (SLE), after everything I have been throughthe last 3 months, I think I have held up nicely...I have been goingthrough the normal aches and pains, and breathing woes. However, something different happened... I was trying to take down my Queen size bed because they were bringingout my new state of the art Hospital Bed the following morning, andthe rails were stuck, as I was walking over to my dresser I suddenlyfell head first. Springing my arm starting at the shoulder all the waydown to my hand & wrist. WOW! What happened!I have muscle problems due to lupus you know the regular aches andpains, but why am I suddenly falling without warning? This is thesecond time it has happened, the first time I fell down a flight ofstairs, cracking 5 ribs and busting myself up real good... Again, without warning, I did not trip or stumble... Anybody else had thisproblem, and if so what else should I be expecting...In addition, my Dad passed away Dec.13, 2007. Dr.'s told him that hehad Liver Cancer and had 6 mos. to live, but he died 2 weeks later. Wewere in shock he left us so suddenly. Nevertheless, to be goingthrough all this stressful stuff, I think I have faired well... I havehad slight flare-ups, and a slight rash from the Scleroderma. However, I have something new that is bothering me, my nose bleedsvery easy. I can sneeze, blood, wipe my nose, blood, also clots... Isthis normal? Oh yeah, I cough up blood sometimes too... Can somebodytell me what is going on here?Sorry this is so long and taking up so much of everyone's time. However, I could not get here when it was all ongoing... Please helpme if you can...Sincerely, Tracey
