CNN is running a piece today on the recent autism/vaccine/mitochondrial disorder case to which the US Government recently conceded. Please turn on the tube!

Also, on CNN, Larry King Live will interview the family at front center of this case TONIGHT (9PM ET and 6PM PT).

Again, I withhold comment/opinion about this matter, but I find it quite interesting as our own daughter has both Mito and ASD-like features. I do wonder to what extent environmental factors play a role in some of our children's disabilities?

PLEASE forward this on to your friends, family, neighbors, teachers, pediatricians! Also, I featured this as one of my town's Special Needs Topics of the Week and have copied and pasted below some of the info:

Vaccines, Autism, Metabolic Harm and…Senator McCain?

And lastly, something extremely timely and controversial that has even been touched on by Presidential candidate Senator McCain: the Autism-Vaccine debate, as spurred by the recent US Government's concession on a vaccine-autism case – a first. For a verbatim copy of the government's concession go here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-kirby/the-vaccineautism-court-_b_88558.html as well as Kirby's comments ( Kirby, New York Times journalist and author of Evidence of Harm) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-kirby/government-concedes-vacci_b_88323.html . Without knowing much about Mr. Kirby, I chose to listen to an Imus in the Morning interview of him : http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-kirby/imus-mccain-autism-and_b_89775.html . I have no opinion either way, nor am I endorsing anything whatsoever, but welcome people's thoughts.
