OT: calling all families with home programmes - CRB checks?

Dear All,

The LEA has thrown a spanner in the works, and my request to join ABA-

UK still being outstanding, I am posting here to ask what goes on in

your area.

Does the LEA insist on seeing CRB checks before anyone can start

working with or even assess your child as part of a programme funded

by the LEA? Do they do checks themselves? Do they monitor to see all

such checks are up to date? Do they accept checks carried out in

another area or for another family?
