Guest guest
I hope the water therapy helps you, Kathy. So many people swear by it. Try not to feel too self-conscious. Just focus on the fact that you are doing this to improve your health - the hell with what anyone else thinks (and they're probably not focusing on you anyway!). Maybe you'll meet a nice person or two - that'll surely help. At the gym where I go, people come in all shapes and sizes, colors and ages, and fitness levels. I think it's great. Wouldn't it be boring and strange if we all looked like Ken and Barbie?
Guest guest
I was so sorry to hear the cost at the ymca. I joined on the family plan (I coned my son and daughter to go for the weights and hot tub) it is 24.00 a month and each arithritis class is 2.00 we meet on mon. wed. and fri. The pool is heated and the exercises are wonderful. I was really sore the day following my first visit but I guess that's normal. Please keep trying, I hate to think of someone needong this treatment and not getting it. I truly feel that Ins. should cover afterall, this is a form of treatment. Guest guest
judy said they might have a discount program too if you financially qualify. so i can try that too. these 2 at the hospitals work out about $7 a visit. i agree with you about the insurance. i know our company would offer other companies we insure wellness programs, but never offered them to their own employees. i never understood that one. kathy in il
