Guest guest
Dear SunshineL:

I can relate to your letter. I was diagnoised with hypothyroidism in January. I can't seem
to get my medicine regulated. I talked to my
doctor on Friday and I am going to see a endocrinologist. I am very tired and I have been
having alot of problems with my sinus. I have't
even thought about it being caused by my thyroid
problem. I didn't used to have that big of a problem. I haven't had any energy in so long I forgot what it feels like to feel good. My husband doesn't understand what is going on. I have two childern they are 20 and 16. I would like to have someone to talk to about this also. So if you feel like sharing our problems and info I would like that very much. I have joined Corey
Everson Health Club. I have lost some weight and
that helps me feel good about myself. I also have
a problem with high blood pressure. Well I better
go would like to hear from you.

t_igger_99@...
Guest guest
Debi we're here to share with in time of need. To cry on each others shoulders. If people don't want to know about Mandy, they can use their delete key. That's why it's there. Guest guest
Sorry about the frustration prednisone brings, - damned if you do, damned if you don't. You also have such a unique set of problems that you don't have too many safe drug options. I know researchers are working to find alternatives to systemic corticosteroids that work just as well without the terrible side-effects. Wouldn't that be great! Preliminary reports on the newly approved drug budesonide seem to indicate that it is working pretty well. Unfortunately, it's mostly for people with intestinal inflammation such as Crohn's. It is a steroid that is designed to target the intestines only, as opposed to entering the bloodstream - a local versus systemic approach. Anyway, even though that particular drug may not apply to you, they are definitely learning, searching, and working. Others will come. I hope they can produce something soon so you and others can have better health. [ ] I understand > Dear Kathy: > I understand just how you feel. Prednisone has blown me up too.
