Guest guest
Medicare will pay for very expensive wheel chairs that are needed around the house, but not for outside and rarely scooters, unless things have changed since we got my husband's scooter. MDA will pay up to $2,000 if you're lucky. He got the Moxie Featherlight, which is easy to take apart and throw the pieces in the trunk of the car. Costco and Sam's often have scooters, that are cheaper than the one we bought. They are probably heavier and may be sturdier. If she's traveling in the countryside, you may need to consider the terrain and wheel size. Elinor
