Guest guest
Hello Tess, I had my heart surgery at St. when I was 5. Too bad we don't get the Remicade together and sit side by side! That would be wonderful and we could compare notes all the way through! Tell me, how long does it take for your infusion? Friday sure was beautiful! Where did THAT come from?? I enjoyed every minute, and now I long for spring. Hugs new neighbor! lie is also in our neighborhood! ~Rainy [ ] Rainy > Hi Rainy...I live just NW of Portland, and go to St. for the > Remicade. > > I hope you are enjoying our beautiful, bright, sunny (but cold!) > morning. > > With Hope... > > Tess

Right now the acute problem with my > right side has that messed up. How are you feeling now, any better? It's funny how sleep can become so elusive for us. I used to sleep like a rock, sure miss those days!! I certainly never realized how important sleep was until I wasn't getting any. Ativan works pretty good for me. I get enough sleep now where I don't feel like I'll go crazy if I don't get some. The look on my doctor's face was so funny when I said that to her; but I really was feeling crazed from lack of sleep and I certainly didn't see the humor of the situation at the time. Let us kown how your appointments go. I find it so hard to wait for an appointment when I'm not feeling well. Hang in there. > I did go to lunch with my youngest daughter & her finance (wedding set > for July), and my middle daughter today. It really pooped me out, but > it was worth it. It's great to be with the kids. This sounds like great fun. Keep focused on it as positive reinforcement! Suzanne
Guest guest
You sure are right about the time! With my Remicade they check vitals EVERY 15 minutes. My nurse is just over cautious and she is VERY controlling. I have wanted to have battles with her. In fact, she got a bit uppity at one of the other nurses right in front of all of us patients. She was way out of line. I saw her go apologize later. The nurse that was tongue lashed came and talked to me about it. We are good friends now and email each other. She even had me go in the back room with her while she ate lunch! Special treatment. They never have trouble getting my IV started. Anyway, I am going to complain about the time when I go in on Tuesday. I am not happy about it. I even told the controlling nurse that I called the company and how long it should take, she just said, that is the way we do it here. Well, I can go elsewhere. Nope, haven't heard of Dr. . ~Rainy NW Re: [ ] Rainy > Hi Rainy...To be honest with you, my experience with OHSU is that > EVERYTHING takes longer.
