Guest guest
The newspaper used to be a requirement, but it was later dropped as a rule. As long as you didn't cut your legs out of the picture, and you can see your body, there are no worries! > > Here's the deal. Guest guest
Thank you for the info . I had no idea it was dropped as a requirement. I'm glad to hear this since, like I said, taking that picture was painful and I don't want to do it again! However, I can't wait to take my after picture in 79 days... > > > > Here's the deal. Guest guest
can someone tell me what is the purpose of holding the newspaper in the picture? nancy Re: Question about the before picture The newspaper used to be a requirement, but it was later dropped as a rule. Guest guest
I received an official welcome to the challenge email today that said: " All you need to do is. *Take your before photos (front & back, head to toe, showing as much skin as possible). *For dating purposes, you can hold a current news paper, or have your physician sign the back of the photo, or usually when you develop your film the date is printed on the corner. (You must start the challenge within 3 days of the photo taken!) *You must purchase 1 EAS or 1 EAS affiliated product within the 12 weeks and please keep the receipts! " My pics were done on a digital camera on January 1st and there is nothing that shows the date. Plus they were " developed " on my computer and they are quite dark. I hope that they are acceptable cuz I can't go back and change them now. Dianne C1W1D4
Guest guest
I took mine on a digital camera too. Hmm...I wonder if getting it notarized would work. I'll have to email them and ask. Now I need to make sure I didn't throw away my receipt for myoplex I bought yesterday. > > I received an official welcome to the challenge email today that said: > > " All you need to do is. > > *Take your before photos (front & back, head to toe, showing as much skin as possible). > > *For dating purposes, you can hold a current news paper, or have your physician sign the back of the photo, or usually when you develop your film the date is printed on the corner. > > (You must start the challenge within 3 days of the photo taken!) > > *You must purchase 1 EAS or 1 EAS affiliated product within the 12 weeks and please keep the receipts! Guest guest
When you say " didn't cut your legs out of the picture " does that mean I need a full body shot to the feet? I had mine taken but because of the small size of the room the shot got me to right around my knees. I figured it was okay because it seemed a lot of the photos on the BFL site seemed to have photos cropped around the knees. Thanks! > > As long as you didn't cut your legs out of the picture, and you can > see your body, there are no worries! > >
Guest guest
You should be fine with the photos. Make sure you get them printed out at a store rather than printing them at home; somewhere in the rules it says they must be " professionally printed " or " on professional paper " or something to that effect. Both my before and afters were taken on a digital camera. We had them printed at Walgreen's, and I don't believe there was a date anywhere on the pics. Apparently they had no problem with the way we did it > > I took mine on a digital camera too. Hmm...I wonder if getting it > notarized would work. I'll have to email them and ask. Guest guest
They advise getting your whole body in the picture, down to your toes. You might want to call the BFL help line (1-877-263-9454) to find out if your pics would be ok. They might be fine since you can see half of your legs. Most of the photos on the website have been cropped - they cut mine off at the calves, even though the photos I sent in went to the floor. > > When you say " didn't cut your legs out of the picture " does that mean > I need a full body shot to the feet?
