Guest guest
OCD is a cowardly big bully, and often attacks our kids when their guard is down and they are relaxed--such as at home. Also, some kids will go through hell with OCD but not show it around " outsiders " to avoid being teased, and then come home and decompress. Another reason may be, some OCD kids are distracted from their symptoms when they are out and about, but at home, without many distractions and perhaps OCD triggers all around, the symptoms come on full force. Last and not least, you are Mom, and can be counted on to love your OCDer no matter how obnoxiously she behaves! :-) Kathy R. in Indiana ----- Original Message ----- From: " Ulrike Bass " <ubass@...> > How is it that our kids can handle forced exposure when they have to?
