Glad you made it through your appointment, Mindy. Sounds like it went

well. I'm glad your doctor is checking your thyroid, because, in

addition to weight gain in some cases, thyroid dysfunction can also

cause joint pain and other distressing, uncomfortable symptoms. Thyroid

problems are quite common in women.

Hope you are relieved to have gone and gotten the ball rolling.
