thanks, alot of it is i have just isolated myself for the last couple years.

it wouldn't matter if they were naked or not. i'd still have a rough time.

but actually it was nice. another girl starting today was late for her appt.

so we just did it together. that helped. then we went to the jacuzzi

afterwards. i also picked up my first pair of bi-focals and i am dizzy now!!!

Hi Kathy,the first time is the worse time. Once you get there and see all the

other shapes and sizes,you will wonder why you worried atall.

I am glad you did it! I hope you are going to continue???

How many times a week do you do it? Just have fun and relax and think

thin!!!!Easier said than done...huh!

Oops Kathy! Watch those bi-focals! About 4 years ago I got mine. I went

to have regular prescription changed, and they found I needed the bi's

badly. So I got " no lines " ... ! I loved them. Adjusted great to them.

But I realized I must have not adjusted too well, as 3 days after I got

them, I went out the front door, and down the stairs head first! Broke

the darn glassed...skinned my shins, palms of hands, elbows...brusies.

But was ok otherwise.

So.... watch those first STEPS!!!

P.S. I got them at Sears. I went back and said I needed another pair.

Ha! They replaced them FREE! I guess I got them on a " good day. "

yes i will go once a week for a month. the other time i go is land therapy

and they use ultrasound and massage on my neck (since the water doesn't reach

it.) i was all gung ho. that was it... i was gonna sign up for the arthritis

classes. i went upstairs, they are going to mail me info on it. it starts

march 18th for 12 weeks. then i added it all up. it would cost me over $1000

to go once a week. (so much for that dream!!) i called the ymca. for a single

they wanted $100 and $42 a month. so i'm gonna have to find other

alternatives. maybe the arthritis foundation has some pools set up somewhere.

That isn't fair...why does it have to cost so much for people like you that

really need it and it could make a huge difference! I have another question,

if insurance will pay for a scooter, why not try and see if it may cover a

hot tub? I would definatley find out ...may be worth checking into.

So glad to hear it, Kathy! When do you go next?

Wish I had a good buddy like you to exercise with. My daughter usually

goes with me, but, as of late, she has been an unreliable partner -

she's working a lot and is a senior in high school, so there are so many

other things claiming her time.

i go on thursdays, mondays are land therapy and tues and friday are for my

feet. i am still rfeally dizzy. don't know if it is the glasses or if i am

finally getting that flu. the longest i have had them on is 1/2 hour. kathy

i was working at my insurance company and i know we'd get bills for things

like that, but don't think they paid for it. i'd always love te lunch

receipts for when they were traveling (like mayo clinic) here's these bills

with beer on it. never found out if we bought beer or not. but i have seen

the bills for pools. i should ask though. tfhanks mindy
