Hi Guys (),

I saw my primary and he agrees that maybe doing the endoscopy is not a bad

idea. However, he wants to call Dr. to himself and talk to him. If

to doesn't call him back or speak to him, I will call Dr. Long. He

wants me to try the reglan again, I will but you get such terrible stomach

pains that I hate to do it. If there is scar tissue it is very easy to

take care of. They do it while they are doing the endoscopy. Maybe just

maybe things will get better though.

Hope everybody is having a nice day,

Lynn

Lynn,

I was so very sad to read in your earlier post that, in addition to

feeling crummy, you are terribly worried about how you are feeling and

whether the surgery was a success. And you have school, WC, and SS on

your mind on top of it. I truly wish I could solve all of those problems

for you instantly. I really do. Of course you are anxious. You have a

lot of reasons to feel that way.

Did you tell your primary that your head hurts constantly? Please ask

him to help you with that!

Great that you asked your primary to talk to to! Even though you may

be a bit miffed at to for discharging you so soon, you should tap

into his expertise. If he is one of the best at the Whipple in the

world, and, he does more than nearly anyone, I am assuming he should be

one of the best versed in the possible complications of the procedure.

And since he performed yours, he owes it to you to see that he does

whatever he can to help you recover. I am also assuming that he will

know better than most doctors whether the scope is advised. It's not

going to hurt to ask him; it should only help. Why not call Long, too?

My fear about the scope is that even though it is not as invasive as the

ERCP, it is invasive, especially in your delicate condition. Too, to

should have an opinion on the possibility about whether scar tissue

could be forming and, if so, what to do about it. to could also

offer an opinion on how to handle the continuing pain. I really hope you

and your primary persist and get some feedback from him ASAP.

I'm thinking about you,

Hi ,

You always make me feel better. Well first I did tell him about the

headaches, anxiety, and not being able to sleep well. He didn't do

anything about it. I tried to tell him I am under too much stress because I

know I am. He just looked at me. He did tell me that he believes that if

I hadn't had the surgery I wouldn't be here. Yet no one ever said that too

me before the surgery.

I explained that this has been going on for seven years. I even mentioned

that I have so much wrong with me. Problem is everyone thinks I am such a

rock. I have know this dr. for over thirty years and he thinks I deal very

well with stuff. Normally I do but it is all too much. The anxiety

scares me, I have never dealt with this before. But my friend told me to

just call her and we will talk. She understands we go to school together.

Now school my economics class I am going to fail. I don't understand it

plus I am having trouble memorizing all the terms. I am not good at

memorizing things. I have enjoyed school so much and now this. My son

told me this happens to stay with it and if I fail I fail, just take it

over. Just thinking about it worries me.

The primary was the one who offered to call to. My gut feeling is

to is not going to return the phone call. Before the surgery my sons

father in law who know to and who he himself is a dr., called him four

times and he never returned the call. So I don't have much faith in his

return call. The primary said scar tissue is always a possibility with any

surgery and east to take care of. I just don't think I can do another

scope. I am going to go back and try the medicines and see what happens.

It is worth a try, I will just go a small dose at a time. You know when

you feel like I do after a meal, you get to a point were you don't want to

eat. Eating should be enjoyable and right now it is not.

I need to get calmer and try to get my act together. I loss my daughters

ss money in May so that is a big worry. My mom told me to pray that May is

not for awhile. I am also waiting for the wc dr, with his nasty report.

Okay enough complaining out of me.

How are you and the kids doing? It is cold here tonight but so far we

haven't had a bad winter. Thank you for all your help, you are always

there for me and everyone else.

Hope you have a pleasant night,

Lynn

Lynn,

Do you have a good wc attorney? Have you had an IME of your own choice?

I haven't been able to figure out what kind of surgery you had that is

causing you so much trouble. Do you feel like talking about it again?

Hi Suzanne,

Thank You for both your notes. Yes I do have an attorney who is handling

both my WC and SS. I can only hope he is good. I will say he has been

extremely good to me. Doesn't call me much but is there when it is needed.

The surgery I had is called a whipple. It is removal of the head of the

pancreas, small intestines, bile duct, gall bladder, most of the stomach

the best I can figure is they take out most of the digestive system. I had

a stricture of the common bile duct and it was life threatening. I was so

lucky not to have cancer as more than most people do. The surgery is big

and the recovery can take a year. It is frustrating because I feel like I

traded one set or problems for another. But I would not be here now if I

hadn't done it.

Right now I feel like everything is coming in on me. I have so many

problems. I am always so grateful that I have this group to come too.

Everyone here is always such tremedous help.

Anyway thank you for your notes. I hope you are feeling well or as well

as can be expected.
