On January 17, 2002, Commissioner Jo Anne Barnhart announced an increase

in the maximum dollar limit for fee agreements. According to the Federal

Register notice, the limit is raised for fee agreements approved on or

after February 1, 2002 under sections 206(a)(2)(A) and 1631(d)(2)(A) of

the Social Security Act. The former $4,000 cap is now $5,300.

Thanks ...I didn't know the exact maximum dollar

amount but figured someone would be up on it. Our

clients rarely qualify for that. Note that is a maximum

fee...

Ob by the way I misspoke myself, , the phrase is

substantial GAINFUL employment. It is late and well...I

misspoke myself.

Hi, ! You're welcome. And thanks for your input on the SS

disability issue.

I've missed you. Sorry to hear that you've been so busy at work and that

kidney stones are plaguing you. I hope they can do the lithotripsy as

opposed to surgery. Good luck! Let us know how you are doing when you

can.
