I recently received a notice from Dana Richter, Director of Policy

Research at the Arthritis Foundation, that announced that the Arthritis

Foundation has a very important goal for 2002 - adding 5000 new

advocates. Please consider being one of them.

Arthritis Foundation advocates can participate on a local or national

level - or both. Your involvement can be as simple as sending a letter

or email now and then to your representatives about an arthritis issue

that is important to you. The Arthritis Foundation even has sample

letters available at their site.
