I look forward to this showing - I'll check the tv listings when it gets

closer to the date. I too was asked by Dr. Chanksy if my daughter and family

would participate. We have been with her for several years now. We

obviously turned it down - too much stress!!!!! Hope it goes well and it

helps the outside world to understand.

remember last fall when Dr. Chansky (one of our list

advisors) asked if anyone would be interested in being

interviewed for television. Taping of Dr. Chansky, my

son Tommy who is one of her patients, me and another

family was completed in January. I have been given an

airing date of August 10. I know that this show is

aired at different times across the country so please

check your TV schedules to find times in your area.

After several hours of taping, it will be quite

interesting to see how much is being used and how much

ended up on the cutting room floor! I hope some of

Hi Joye: Are you also aware that "Extreme Conditions - OCD" will be on the Discovery Channel on Monday Aug 6 at 10:00 pm and again on Saturday, August 11 at 2 am and at 5 pm? With the Inside Edition program on Friday as well, it looks like that week is going to be a big awareness week for OCD. How long has Tommy been a patient of Dr. Chansky? How is he doing with his therapy, and how long has he been involved in it? I took Chelle, my daughter, to U of P for an evaluation and diagnosis early this year. She's 15 1/2 and has not as yet agreed to start the response prevention therapy, which frustrates me to no end. I've noticed a couple of times that you've sign off that you're from SE PA. Where exactly? We live in the upper end of Montgomery County in Red Hill. Phyllis

Tamra: the name of the show is Inside Edition and I

believe it is syndicated - it is shown on different

networks at different times of the day and night.

Your best bet is to check your local listing to see
