Guest guest
Welcome lie and Mindy; my name is Becky, 59 yrs. 2 children, 2 in-laws, 4 grandchildren, am on SS disability for 2 yrs. just went on Medicare in December 2001. Husband, Ray is retired, no pets, Have been DX with RA since JAN.'98, Had cancer, left breast, surgery May 2000, 8 chemo treatments, But each day I give thanks that I can get up and function to some degree. I'm sure you girls will enjoy this group. Back in the early stages of my RA my Dr. prescribed me DAYPRO(a NSAIDS drug) and within in a few days I began to develope an itch on my body which led to major size welps, so had to discontinue this treatment. Also, Alieve will do me the same way. This is the only ones that have given me any problems. I do Have " red cheeks " from time to time which I attribute to the Tamoxifen that I take for cancer preventive. With any rash, itch, etc you need to consult with your Dr.
