RealAge Tip of the Day

Cool It

Are you icing your sprains and strains too long? Giving your body tissue a

chance to recover from cold therapy is an important part of the treatment

process.

A recent study revealed that deep tissues become cooler after an icepack is

removed. For best results, ice an injured area for no more than 10 to 15

minutes every two hours during the first two to three days after sustaining

the injury.

RealAge Benefit: Actively patrolling your health can make your RealAge as

much as 12 years younger.
