I'm game! I'll be starting Weight Watchers next Tuesday morning,

possibly with a woman who I know from school and Cub Scouts who also was

recently diagnosed with RA!! I have at least 40lbs to lose!!

Thanks for asking, Rainy! I started Weight Watchers (alone for now!) on

Tuesday and was amazed to find about 200 other woman and a man or 2 at the

meeting! A very lively, talkative group, so I may find a friend or 2 there!

Several women, including the leader, are from my hometown of Arlington, WA.

The program (Winning Points) is a very workable program, as I get to eat

anything I want as long as I stay within my allotted points per day.

Hi Elly,

This is great! But one thing, sweetie, I don't think you're alone! 200 other

women! Not only will you have all of us here to help support you, but

also all of your new friends! Since you've already started, be sure to mark

down the date and your weight at the time you began. Check-ins will be

Saturday night. So feel free to do a check-in tonight. Can you explain to me

about the points? I don't know how that works.
