Guest guest
Those red dots?? I started getting them 20 years ago after I came down with RA. I have asked every doc. They all say they are nothing to worry about. That's al!!! But then my sister got them and my mom. Since i know so many women now with them and nothing ever comes of them, I have crossed them off my list of " things to worry about " " . With me they are mostly on my lower legs and breasts and upper chests. I truly ignore them. I think with RA, so many things go wrong that we start thinking every little thing is a symptom of something bad. Sometimes red dots are just red dots. Please try not to worry,Mindy. Guest guest
Hi I know your right, I guess it is just because I never had the red dots before this and like I said (I think I said) They pop up where all that burning muscle stuff is at. Maybe it is anxiety bumps...who knows...but if a lot of people have them...even healthy people I suppose I won't worry about it...LOL I hope I won't Thanks Mindy
Guest guest
Mindy, How are you doing today? I've been out of town, had an appt with rheumatologist 90 miles away, and just got back on the computer yesterday. Have you gotten either of your doctors to refer you to a rheumatologist yet? You certainly have a number of disturbing symptoms that need to be addressed. Do you keep a log of your symptoms that you can take with you when you see your doctor(s)? I am literally struck dumb when I walk into a doctor's office. My thoughts drain out of my head and there I stand, speechless. Bringing a log with me helps enormously. In fact, I was so frustrated when I finally got in to see the rheumatologist for the first time that I brought a 3 page narrative with me beginning with when I first started feeling stiff, then the progression of pain and swelling as it moved from joint to joint. This is the first time I've done this, but it worked really well for me. And then the doctor had something in writing from me on my symptoms for the file. Now I keep an informal log that I print and bring to my appointments with questions circled that I think of when I'm at home so I remember to ask them! Hope you get some answers soon, Suzanne

Guest guest
Hi Mindy, That happens to me, yeast in my mouth, with the prednisone. It usually hits before my period. When this happens I have some meds I dissolve in my mouth and it makes it go away. It is actually Mycelex 10 MG. I know that sounds gross but they don't taste bad at all. For me it's worth doing. ~Rainy Re: [ ] update > Hi , > Currently I am back on the cellebrex...I told that Dr. I had been on > Prednisone but it was causing something in my mouth like thrush...she said to > take Celebrex and I told her it didn't touch it, she said..you have to take > something and upped the dosage. > anyhow...The other Dr. put me on a antibiotic for the thrush.... > I guess it is just wait and see. Oh, yea my first Dr.'s office said my > appointment was " sometime " in May but wouldn't give me a date....I thought > that was just a bit odd. > No I didn't ask about that, I just feel like these Dr.'s really don't care, > take my money and be gone with you kind of thing.
